You have 30 mins to complete this task. Ten minutes at each PA. Use your phone to take lots of photos of each PA system and it's components. These pictures will be needed for your first Assessment Task.

10. Draw a signal flow chart of a simple PA System. Here is a chart to help you get started. Include in your signal flow chart, 2 FOH speakers, 2 monitor speakers, a signal processor, a mixing desk, a multicore, a microphone, a keyboard, a DI box, a CD Player, an amplifier for each set of speakers.

9. Describe the function of each audio plan
ReplyDeleteStage plan – shows the input list and where the equipments should be place on stage.
Input list – tells us the list of channels and its description, microphone or DI, stands and notes of equipments.
Signal flow chart – the flow of energy from equipments through cables.
Production plans/lists – equipment list for workers. Shows what equipment it is, the quantity, accessories eg. Cables, batteries, condition or availability, bump in/bump out and who is responsible for the equipment.
Tech rider – tells us what needs to be provided and required.
Installation plans – is a record of stage plans, flow charts, input list, production plans, etc.
Technical notes – list of technical words with definitions.
